What this Bus lines map shows
This page maps the intercity bus connections observed through SOGRAL's MAHATATI service on these sampled dates: Aug 12, 2026 and Aug 21, 2026. Choose a departure station and a destination to see how much service was observed and its estimated duration. For departure times and booking, use MAHATATI.
How to use the map
Choose a departure station, then a destination. The map draws that observed connection and opens it automatically; no search button is required.
Coverage and limitations
The map contains only searches that returned a departure on at least one sampled date. A missing connection means it was not captured, not that SOGRAL provides no service. Dashed lines place unmatched destinations at the centre of their wilaya.
Official source
The observations come from SOGRAL's official MAHATATI service. GeoAlgeria publishes the network it saw and the estimated durations derived from it, not a timetable: no departure times, fares or seat availability appear on this page. Check the latest information on MAHATATI.
Bus lines questions
- Why are there no departure times?
- Because we cannot keep them true. Departure times change daily, and this page rests on observations from Aug 12, 2026 and Aug 21, 2026. A stale departure time would leave travellers standing at a station, so the map shows the network and hands you to MAHATATI, SOGRAL's own service, for times and booking.
- What does estimated duration mean?
- It accumulates the segment estimates published in SOGRAL's route details, taking the middle value across unique route variants observed on that connection. Repeated departures do not get extra weight. Segments the source reports implausibly are dropped rather than published. It is not a scheduled arrival time, a live traffic prediction or a guarantee.
- Why is a destination or bus line missing?
- Only observed connections are shown. A missing destination means that search was not captured or returned no departure on the sampled dates; it does not prove there is no service.
